Clock.ie uses QR (Quick Response) codes and/or NFC (Near-field communication) to clock employees in/out and automate Worksheet generation (conforming to the WRC regulations).QR codes are similar to bar codes. However, the information contained within a QR code may be scanned and read using any smartphone.NFC codes may be read simply by swiping any device (phone) with NFC capability.Clock.ie provides a number of solutions, dependant on the client’s requirements:1. Static QR. A single QR code is located at the entrance to the workplace. Every employee scans this with their phone to clock in/out.2. Dynamic QR A single Dynamically regenerating QR code is located at the entrance to the workplace – on a Tablet or PC. Every employee scans this with their phone to clock in/out.3. Static Credit Card User ID QR. And/or Dynamic User ID QR on users phone. & QR Scanner APP on Tablet on premises And/or a QR Scanner APP on Supervisors phone/tablet - on the road clock in. The employee’s ID Card (or QR on their phone) is scanned by the supervisor (using their phone) or via the camera on Any Tablet or PC at the workplace.3. Static Credit Card User ID NFC. & NFC Scanner APP on Tablet on premises And/or a NFC Scanner APP on Supervisors phone/tablet - ideal foron the road clock in. The employee’s ID Card is swiped by the supervisor (using their phone) or via an NFC Reader on Any Tablet or PC at the workplace.4. Fingerprint reader attached via USB to any device (On-the-road or in the workplace) – authentication performed on remote servers.5. Standard PC Login – for employees who lost/forgot ID.
